Imaged Documents Online - Printing & Saving Instructions

It is highly recommended that you view and print this page and keep by your computer while using this resource.

This site requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, or Netscape 4.7 to view, print or save documents. Netscape versions 6 and 7 are not compatible.

If you choose to save imaged documents in the TIFF format (which allows you to save a hundred+ page document to your computer as a single file), you simply right click on the Download Document link and select 'Save As'. You may then save it to your personal computer. The Image Viewer that comes with Windows PCs will work with TIFF images to open, view and print each page. Other image programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, will NOT view these multi-page TIFFs.

Simply double click the image file to view and print it.

Printing Records

  • Printer Settings: You will want to set the margins on your printer to .25 inches for the entire document (top, bottom, left and right margins). If this setting is ignored, single pages may print on two pages or cut off images on the right side.
  • If you are printing within your Internet Explorer or Netscape Browser, go to File, Page Setup, and remove all Header and Footer information.
  • Please keep in mind that the original size displayed on your screen (Scale: 45%) is best for printing the document images. Any changes you make in size will directly affect the size of the printed record. What you see on the screen is the approximate size of a printed version.
  • Click on the Print link to print the record. If you use the Control+P command or the Print button on your browser, the entire web page will be printed.
  • Some records are Legal Size (such as Land Surveyor Monument Records maps) and will require Legal Sized (8.5" x 14") paper.
  • If you find you are printing an extra blank page, set your Printing Range to the appropriate number of pages.
  • To print entire document: Windows users can print the entire document by clicking the Document Download link, when downloaded to your desktop, just double click the image file. The image will display in the Windows image viewer, then select print. A viewer is installed with Windows for viewing TIFF files.

Saving Records
You can save the image on your screen by right clicking your mouse on the image.

  • Saving with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher):
