Pursuant to 4 Code of Colorado Regulations 723-2-2846(e), all telecommunications service providers required to contribute to the Colorado High Cost Support Mechanism shall provide their customers with the customer education information describing the “Colorado Universal Service Charge” rate element using the language as provided in Attachment A.
For calendar year 2009, providers shall complete the required continuing customer Colorado High Cost Support Mechanism education notification in the first billing cycle of the third quarter of 2009.

COLORADO HIGH COST SUPPORT MECHANISM - DOC
- Pursuant to Rule 4 Code of Colorado Regulations 723-2.2840, the Commission, acting as Administrator, has determined the Colorado Universal Service Charge shall be decreased to 2.2 percent for the third quarter of 2008.
- Each Telecommunications Services Provider as a participant in the Colorado High Cost Support Mechanism shall make changes to its tariff, if necessary, to reflect the current rate element for the Colorado Universal Service Charge on not less than one day’s notice, citing this Order as authority, to be effective July 1, 2008.
