If you've never used the online system before, you need to request a logon id and
password. Use the Request Logon ID link located on the left hand side of the screen.

When you file your permit application with the Colorado
Public Utilities Commission Online system, you must pay a
small fee. The amount of the fee depends upon the type of
permit you request.
You will need Internet access and a standard Internet browser to use the
online system. No other special software or hardware is required.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later is recommended.
The online system is accessible from 1:00am through midnight every day.
You must have a valid Logon ID and account before you will be able to use
the Online Services system. Use the “Request Logon ID” link located on
the logon form to apply for a Logon ID and account. You will need to
provide information about your business, plus additional personal
information as part of your request. The Colorado Public Utilities Commission
will review your request and you will be notified by email when your logon
ID request has been approved.
The Colorado Public Utilities Commission will approve or deny all requests for
new Logon ID’s and accounts within 5 business days of the original request.
Most requests are approved immediately.
If you have a valid online account for the Colorado Public Utilities Commission Online Services System,
you can use the Password Finder located on the logon form to receive
an email reminder of your Logon ID and Password. This reminder will
be sent to the email address on file for your online account.
Accounts that have not had any activity for 24 months will be
deactivated. You must contact the Colorado Public Utilities
Commission Online Services system administrator
to re-activate your account.

Access to the online system is available only to those individuals
with a valid Logon ID and Password. Starting with the logon page, all
transactions sent to and from the online system are encrypted. Credit
card information is not stored within the online system and all
passwords and other sensitive information are stored in an encrypted form.
Please note that none of the information maintained by the system will be
available to the general public. Businesses with access to the online system
will only have access to the information that pertains to their own account.

more information on how your information is handled during processing.
Your personal information (phone number, email address, etc.) will only be
used by the online system and the Colorado Public Utilities Commission to
correspond with you concerning your permit applications and payments with
the State of Colorado.
If you encounter a system error, please contact the Colorado Public
Utilities Commission. Please be ready to provide as much
information about the error as possible. Include any specific error
messages that were displayed, what action caused the error, etc.

If you create and submit a permit application using the online system, you must use a credit card to pay for any associated fees.
