Performance Planning and Management
Help Using the Main Menu

The Main Menu options for the Performance Planning and Management System are represented by a series of icons located accross the top of each page. The options available will vary depending on where you are currently working in the system and whether or not you have supervisory capabilities defined within the system.

Wherever possible, you should use the menu options and navigational buttons provided by the system. Using the standard icons located on your browser toolbar (i.e. the "Back" and "Refresh" buttons) is not recommended.

The standard options available are as follows:

Manage Positions Manage Positions (Supervisors Only)
Used to set up and maintain the list of positions that you are responsible for as a supervisor. If you do not have supervisory capabilities defined within the system, this option will not be available from your Main Menu.
Change Password Change Password
Used to change the password that you use during the Logon process.
Update Your Signature Update Your Signature
Used to view and/or update the default signature and initials that the system assigns to you when you are working with a performance plan.
Home Home
Used to take you back to your main Performance Planning page. This is the page which lists all performance plans currently on file for you. Also, if you are a supervisor, this page should include links to the Performance Planning pages for all of your employees.
Help Help
Used to display a help message relevant to the task you are currently peforming within the system

Exit Exit
Used to log off of the system and return to the main DORA Intranet Applications page

The following icon in not included as on option on the Main Menu, but is found on many of the pages throughout the system:

Previous Level Previous Level
Generally used to return to the page or level within the system that you were previously working on.
