Informative Brochures, Books, and Videos available at the Securities Division
The Division has available a free brochure entitled "How to Protect Your Savings Against Con Artist Hypnosis", in which are listed the most common kinds of investment schemes and the types of selling techniques used by illicit promoters.
Also available is a videotape cassette entitled "Calling for Your Dollars," an investor protection program about high pressure, "boiler room" investment sales tactics and scams.
The Division has a supply of paperback books available at no charge called "Investor Alert" containing articles warning about various investment problems collected over the years, prepared in cooperation with the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
"What Every Investor Ought to Know" is a videotape presentation about how to select and deal with your securities investment broker, and is available for viewing on request accompanied by a follow-along pamphlet.
