Affidavit of Eligibility

In July 2006, the Colorado Legislature passed House Bill 06S-1009, which requires the Division of Registrations to verify that an applicant for licensure be lawfully present in the United States.

This bill applies to all applicants for licensure and persons already licensed by various boards and programs of the Division of Registrations, with the exception of apprentices, interns, and businesses.

All new applicants for original licensure or licensees renewing a current Colorado license after
January 1, 2007, must complete and sign the Affidavit of Eligibility.
