Mortgage Loan Originator Renewal Timelines:

1. License renewals through the Division of Real Estate website and registration renewals through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry begin November 1st of each calendar year and end December 31st of each calendar year.

2. License reinstatement through the Division of Real Estate website and registration reinstatement through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry begin January 1st of each calendar year and end the last day of February of each calendar year.

3. Individuals who fail to renew or reinstate their license in accordance with the timelines outlined above, shall re-apply beginning March 1st of each calendar year. Re-application includes completion of all requirements pursuant to an initial application.

*Please note that all applicants and all individuals renewing or reinstating shall apply, renew, or reinstate with the Division of Real Estate database and additionally such individuals shall apply, renew and reinstate with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System pursuant to the Mortgage Loan Originator Licensing Act.
