Implementation of New Colorado Energy Legislation

The New Energy Economy
During the 2008, 2007 and 2006 Colorado legislative sessions, several energy-related bills were approved and signed into law. These legislative initiatives will greatly affect that portion of Colorado’s energy industry regulated by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. To access initiatives and dockets of the Commission relating to these legislative directives, see below, and click the legislation or issue tab at left.

The Commission hosted an information meeting to develop a better understanding of the connection between electric transmission development and the developing state energy policy.
