10. Discussion by Task Force Members of the manner in which comments from members of the public are received:

  • The Task Force first encourages the public to submit their comments in writing.
  • The Task Force decided to allow Public Comment to be received at both the start and at the end of its meetings and to initially limit the length of each individual commenter to three minutes unless time and circumstances allowed otherwise.
  • The Task Force is interested in pursuing the option of conducting Public Hearings at locations throughout the State. Chairman Dean will investigate the costs and feasibility of such meetings and will report his findings at a future meeting.
