You begin the process of creating your account by filling in the fields on the Basic page (see figure 1).

Supply a value for each field and press the Continue button when you are satisfied that the information you entered is correct. Each section is described in more detail in what follows.

Logon Information
Logon ID The unique name you will use to access the E-Filings system.
Confirm Logon ID retype the Logon ID you entered previously.
Password For added security, make your password between eight and twenty characters. Use letters, numbers or the underscore ("_") characters. **Tip - Make the password easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.
Confirm Password Retype the password you entered previously.

Contact Information
Name The name of the person requesting access to the E- Filing System
Email Address Your email address. If you own multiple email addresses and aren't sure which one to use, choose the address where you want to receive service of process or other information sent by the PUC.
Phone Number The telephone number that you use most frequently and by which the PUC will be able to contact you. This is especially important if you are a party to a proceeding and a commissioner or another party to the docket needs to contact you.
Fax Number Optional, the fax number where you would like to receive service of process (if appropriate).

Navigation Buttons
The navigation buttons appear on each page of the wizard and allow you to move from one page to the next and back again. Each button is described in more detail:
Back Disabled on the first page of the wizard, the back button navigates the wizard to the previous page.
Continue Navigates to the Detailed page of the wizard.
Cancel Returns to the E-Filings homepage without saving any information.
