Podiatry Board

Statutes, Rules and Policies

Statutes || Rules || Policies

Statutes are proposed and made law by the State Legislature and are used in the regulation of podiatrists and other health care providers regulated by the Board.

The Colorado Podiatrists Practice Act (PPA) is that part of the Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) which allows the Board to regulate podiatrists. It gives the Board the authority to license and discipline podiatrists within the parameters set forth in the statute, and to adopt rules (which have the force of law) relating to the regulation of podiatrists and the practice of podiatry in Colorado.
