Effective August 7, 2002, all physicians participating in an internship, residency or fellowship, are required to hold a physician training license or an Active Colorado Medical License. Upon notification to the Colorado Medical Board from the training program of acceptance into the training program (see sample attestation below), the applicant will have 60 days to complete and submit a training application.
