Information for Rates and Forms

The Division receives approximately 12,000 rate, rule and form filings from insurance companies annually in paper and electronic (SERFF) form.  Please refer to the SERFF home page for more information regarding SERFF at www.serff.org.

The Division's Rates and Forms section saved Colorado consumers more than $44 million in fiscal year 2010-11.

Colorado requires filings be submitted via SERFF (System for Electronic Rate & Form Filing).  Insurance companies may contact SERFF at www.serff.org or email them at serffmktg@naic.org for more information regarding registering and training information through Integro Training.

Annual Health Cost Report

The Colorado Division of Insurance is surveying the health insurance industry to deternine the cost of health insurance in Colorado. In accordance with Colorado Revised Statute 10-16-111(4) carriers are required to report a variety of health insurance cost information to the Commissioner of Insurance annually by June 1. The data collected will be aggregated and published on the Division's website. For more information please refer to Colorado Regulation 4-2-31.
