You can also check to see if any disciplinary actions have been taken against the licensee. The Division of Registrations works to ensure that only qualified professionals are licensed. It also reviews complaints to protect consumers from incompetent or unethical professionals.

You may also verify the licenses of other businesses and professionals licensed by the Department of Regulatory Agencies such as real estate agents, appraisers and companies, insurance companies and producers and permits registered with the Public Utilities Commission.
