Renewal
All "Current" (Active or Inactive) podiatrist licenses
expire on May 31 each year.
60-day
Grace Period
Podiatrists
will be granted a 60-day extension in which to complete the renewal
process of their license to practice podiatry. Any podiatrist who
has not completed the renewal process by May 31 will have until
July 31 in which to complete the process prior to the license being
placed in a lapsed or expired status (for purposes of licensure status, the terms "lapsed" and "expired" have the same meaning).
Podiatrists who did not complete renewal during the last renewal period will need to apply for reinstatement.
Reinstatement
Reinstatement is necessary to change a license status
from expired to either active or inactive. Do not use a reinstatement application to
change a license status from inactive to active. Instead, you will
need to apply for reactivation of your license.
To reinstate your license, you must complete and return the Reinstatement Application along with the applicable fee. The application may also require the following supporting documentation:
Contact the Office of Licensing at (303) 894-7800 should you have questions or need additional information.
Reactivation
Reactivation is necessary to change a license status
from inactive to active. Do not use a reactivation application to
change a license status from EXPIRED to current. Instead, you will
need to apply for reinstatement of your license.
To reactivate your license, you must complete and return the Reactivation Application along with the applicable fee. The application may also require the following supporting documentation:
