These public notices are supplemental to notices available through E-Filings. Notices are designed to inform
interested parties about various applications that have been filed
by utilities or regulated companies, commissioner meetings, proposed
rulemaking, scheduled hearings and other meetings.
In addition to notices accessible from this page, the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) now offers a subscription service by which you may subscribe to receive electronic notice of industry specific filings and rulemakings. The subscription service is available through the E-Filings system. Click the Register for Industry Notice via E-Filings button to search E-Filings or to subscribe to receive email alerts on industry specific notices, rulemaking notice and meeting agenda notices and hearings.
Viewers may click the buttons to the left to access copies of PUC public notices, and in some cases, there will be links to related documents. Notices of Applications Filed of recent application filings by regulated utilities and companies are available through our E-Filings system. The Calendar and Meeting Agendas button provides a link to agendas and information about scheduled Commissioners' meetings and hearings. Public Hearings may be scheduled in particular high profile dockets to provide opportunities for the public to address the Commission with their concerns. The public may always direct their comments to the Commission through Consumer Comments & Complaints.
The Rulemaking button leads to the Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) for proposed new rules
or amendments to existing rules, as well as information about the
hearing date(s), time, location and opportunity to make public comments.
NOPRs are published in the Colorado Register by the Sectretary of State.
For the official publication of Commission rules, please consult the Code of Colorado
Regulations (CCR) on the Colorado Secretary of State website. A direct link to the CCR index is: www.sos.state.co.us/CCR/AlphabeticalList.do.
Unofficial paper copies of Commission rules may be obtained from LexisNexis Mathew Bender & Co. (www.lexisnexis.com or call 1-800-833-9844).
As required by law, the PUC files notices of proposed rulemaking
and adopted rules with the Colorado Secretary of State for publication in the CCR.
