About the Rule Review Process
With the passage of Senate Bill 03-121, state agencies send a copy of proposed rules to the Office of Policy, Research and Regulatory Reform so that the Director can evaluate the proposed rule to determine if a cost-benefit analysis should be performed by the agency.
With rules and regulations constantly being proposed, updated and amended, it is often difficult for the most attuned business owner to keep track of relevant changes in their business sector. As a result, those most effected by government rules and regulations often lack an easy way to participate in the very development of government policy.
This website explains the regulatory process, alerts citizens of new rules and regulations, allows easy searches of proposed rules and keeps citizens updated on the rulemaking process. Most importantly, it will help us acquire valuable feedback from consumers and businesses effected by proposed rules and regulations.
