Profession Name Change

With the passage of Senate Bill 11-088 last year, the professional name for the Office of Midwifery changed to the Office of Direct-Entry Midwifery Registration. As consumers and licensees, you may have noticed some changes to the webpage to reflect this name change. Over the coming weeks and months all references to midwives will be updated to reflect the new name, direct-entry midwives. Should you have any questions regarding this change, please don't hesitate to contact the program director for the direct-entry midwifery office, Megan Ripko, megan.ripko@dora.state.co.us.
