The Michael Skolnik Medical Transparency Act of 2010
Senate Bill 10-124 enacts the "Michael Skolnik Medical Transparency Act of 2010" to extend reporting requirements to many health care professionals who apply for or renew a license, certification, or registration, on or after July 1, 2011. Currently licensed Mental Health Professionals including provisional licenses and Registered Psychotherapists will be required to complete online profiles at their next renewal in August of 2011. All newly licensed Mental Health Professionals including provisional licenses and Registered Psychotherapists, after July 1, 2011, will be required to complete online profiles before their applications will be approved.

Continuing Professional Development
House Bill 09-1086 enacts continuing professional development requirements to certain mental health professionals who apply to renew, reinstate or reactivate their license or certificate on or after January 1, 2011. The affected license and certificate types are Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Addiction Counselors and Certified Addiction Counselors Levels II and III.

View Registrations Online Documents - ROD This online system makes certain scanned documents related to disciplinary actions taken on all Colorado licensees available to the public via the Internet. Stipulations, Final Agency Orders, and Suspensions that were in effect in February 2000, plus any that became effective since that date, are among the documents that are now available.
