The Division of Registrations website is an excellent resource for professionals or businesses currently licensed or seeking licensing with the State of Colorado. Answers to most licensing questions are available by accessing the information you will find on the Licensee / Applicant Services web page.

Due to the heavy volume of e-mail requests we receive every day, we encourage you to visit the appropriate licensing page before writing to us. We are certain you will find the information you need. If not, an e-mail link for licensing questions is located there.

BOARD / PROGRAM INFORMATION

For questions about complaints, scope of practice, laws, and rules only, send an e-mail to the Colorado Medical Board.

If the profession you are searching for is not found anywhere on this website, it is not regulated by the Division of Registrations.

Please refer to the home page of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies for information about other state regulatory agencies such as the Division of Insurance and the Division of Real Estate.

Or, you can refer to the Occupational/Industry License Database provided by the Colorado Office of Economic Development. This is a good resource to help citizens determine how an industry is regulated, and by which agency.

In addition, the Division of Registrations does not register or license Colorado businesses. For this, you will need to contact the Colorado Secretary of State.
