What Action May Be Taken By the Board?
The Board may
impose the following discipline:
- Letter of
Admonition. A public reprimand issued to the licensee in the form
of an actual letter or as part of a Stipulation.
- Probation.
The period of time a licensee must comply with required terms
and conditions to be able to continue to practice.
- Suspension
of a license. The licensee may not practice for a specified period
of time. However, some suspensions may be indefinite.
- Revocation
of a license. The license to practice is completely taken away.
- Stipulation
and Order. An Order of the Agency that is an agreement between
the Agency and the licensee without a formal hearing which resolves
the case. In a Stipulation, both parties agree to facts, sanctions,
and the terms and conditions for continued practice, if applicable.
