Office of Barber and Cosmetology Licensure

No person shall provide barbering, cosmetology, esthetician, hairstyling, or manicuring services at a place of business unless the location is registered with the Office. If you are opening a new shop, have purchased a shop, or are relocating a shop, you must register your business location with the office.

As a small business owner, you may be required to obtain a federal Employer Identification Number (EIN). Please review this information from the Internal Revenue Service.

Shop Reinstatement Application - If your shop registration has lapsed or expired, you must complete a reinstatement application to restore your registration to an active status (for purposes of licensure status, the terms "lapsed" and "expired" have the same meaning).
