The Colorado Division of Banking provides current information regarding the activities of the Colorado State Banking Board. The Monthly Meeting Agenda and Bulletin are posted no later than the 10th of each month and the Minutes are posted after having received Banking Board approval. Adobe Reader, which is required in order to access this information, is available free from Adobe, in versions compatible to different platforms. The Colorado State Banking Board meets on the THIRD THURSDAY of each month commencing at 10:00 a.m. Special meetings of the Banking Board may be called by the Banking Board Chair. The agenda for any special meeting will be posted prior to the meeting date,The Colorado State Banking Board Bulletin is published monthly. The Bulletin is a listing of applications that have been approved by the Banking Board, either during a regularly scheduled meeting or by way of powers delegated to the State Bank Commissioner. When an application is complete, i.e., the bank or branch opens, etc., the effective date will be shown the next month and, subsequently, the item will be eliminated from the following month's Bulletin.
Minutes
The Banking Board Minutes for the previous month's meeting are reviewed for accuracy and approved by the Banking Board at the following month's meeting prior to posting on the Division of Banking website and lobby bulletin board. Hearing Notices
The Colorado State Banking Board conducts Hearings on applications for de novo commercial bank charters, trust company charters, money transmitter licenses, and on formal Rulemaking. Occasionally a Hearing is conducted on other actions that may come before the Banking Board. Any Notice of Hearing will be posted; however, Hearings are not conducted every month and Executive Hearings are for matters of a confidential nature and therefore, not open to the public.
