  • The Division of Banking and the Division of Securities were not combined and remain separate agencies within DORA.

Welcome to the Colorado Division of Banking web site. As a unit of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, the Division embraces the Department's mission of consumer protection and works to protect public interest and preserve public trust in the Colorado banking industry by regulating the business of state chartered and/or licensed financial institutions under its supervision.

The Division does not supervise
National Banks or Credit Unions

National Banks are supervised by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Please go to Find an Institution to verify your bank and if the search does not return your bank name OR contains National Bank under Institution Type, please contact the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Please contact the Division of Financial Services for assistance with Credit Unions.
