Recent Legislation
Legislation passed during the 2011 Legislative Session impacts the Division of Registrations. The Division is developing an implementation process at this time. Please check back in the near future to learn about any changes to rules, requirements and important deadlines.
New Healthcare Professions Profiling Program is now online!
The Healthcare Professions Profiling Program has been upgraded with new features and additional questions due to the Michael Skolnik Medical Transparency Act of 2010 expansion. These new questions will need to be completed and submitted via the system in order to renew your license. You will be able to create or update your profile by clicking the button on the left of this page labeled, "Create/Update a Healthcare Profession Profile."
Our search capability has also been updated for our customers to research Healthcare Professionals. You may access the search functionality by clicking the button on the left of this page labeled, "Search Healthcare Profession Profiles."
The Michael Skolnik Medical Transparency Act of 2010:
The Michael Skolnik Medical Transparency Act of 2010 extends the reporting requirements to several additional healthcare professionals. All individuals applying for the following license types will be required to complete online profiles beginning July 1, 2011:
Audiology
Hearing Aid Providers
Acupuncture
Podiatry
Chiropractic
Dentistry
Dental Hygiene
Medicine
Physician Assistant
Direct-Entry Midwifery
Practical Nursing
Professional Nursing
Advanced Practice Nursing
Optometry
Physical Therapy
Psychology
Social Work
Marriage and Family Therapy
Professional Counseling
Addiction Counseling
Registered Psychotherapy
Additionally, anyone currently licensed in one of these professions will be required to complete online profiles before they will be eligible to renew their license during their next renewal cycle.
