For your use, directly below is the Poster, click on the name of the Poster and print it out on 8 1/2 x 14 paper. In the event that you are not able to print out the Poster(s) referenced below, the Civil Rights Division provides, at no charge, an 8 1/2 x 14 Anti-Discrimination Poster which employers, labor organizatios, housing providers and places of public accommodation are required to display. email your request to ccrd@dora.state.co.us. Please refer to Rule 20.1 and Rule 20.2 with questions regarding the requiements concerning the manner and place of posting.

Laws, Rules and Regulations. The agency makes available those parts of the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S. Title 24, Article 4, Parts 3-8) and the Code of Colorado Regulations (3 C.C.R. 708-1) that establish its mandate, define its jurisdiction, and guide its operations.Anyone may print and reproduce the statutes and/or the rules and regulations. Or, on request, the agency will mail a copy of both statutes and Also, other publications including the following are available, just call to inquire as to your interest if you do not see it represented here:

Expert Training in Anti-Discrimination Laws

The Colorado Civil Rights Division has a long-standing history of providing training sessions, workshops, and presentations on such topics as:

  • Fair employment practices
  • Fair housing practices
The Division trainer and other staff provide training and presentations to:

  • public and private employers of all sizes
  • government agencies
  • non-profit organizations
  • trade and professional associations.
  • academic institutions from middle schools to universities (including faculty, administrators and students)

Organizations which obtain training by the Division's staff trainer receive accurate, up-to-the-minute and useful information based on the current law, regulation, and recent court decisions.

CCRD's human resources specialist/trainer will consult with the person requesting the training in advance to determine the needs and logistics of the proposed training sessions
.

What's the Payoff?

People who participate in CCRD's training sessions gain a clearer understanding of the laws that prohibit discrimination and how to avoid running afoul of them. Supervisors, human resource managers, line employees, property managers, leasing agents--all participants--are armed with information that can prevent resource-draining problems and costly legal conflicts.
